Your Brain in Focus

– What ADHD Can Teach Us About Concentration

02.07.2026 at 19–20

Concept

ADHD and difficulty concentrating are usually discussed separately. In fact, they share the same neurobiological mechanisms, just at different intensities. Sensory overload and constant availability now create patterns in many brains that resemble the ADHD brain.

Anyone who understands what happens in the ADHD brain also understands their own concentration — and can train it deliberately.

The workshop uses this bridge. It starts with the ADHD brain and shows, using real EEG data, what measurably happens there. From there, it moves into each participant’s everyday life. Instead of generic tips, you get neuroscience-based, evidence-backed techniques you can use immediately.

Goal

By the end, participants understand what happens in the brain during concentration — and what doesn’t. They can explain what ADHD means neurobiologically and what parallels exist with their own attention. They’ve identified their personal concentration killers. And they know 5 to 7 scientifically proven techniques they can apply from day one.
