Biofeedback

Biofeedback is a recognised medical method in which people gain the ability to consciously control bodily processes that are otherwise involuntary. We offer our clients targeted support through bio- and neurofeedback. Some of the parameters used in biofeedback include skin conductance, temperature, and muscle tension.

Stress and Burnout

Biofeedback has proven an effective method for tackling stress and burnout. By making the experience of stress visible, you can consciously counteract it.

Profession

Tension, inner restlessness, or anxiety can stand in the way of working life and impair success. In management in particular, competitive conditions can be compared to athletic competition. Alongside management, biofeedback is increasingly in demand within occupational health management.

Seeks

Visual cues — here, triggers such as the image of a cigarette — make it possible, through biofeedback, to face the addiction and learn self-control in response to an addiction trigger.

ADHD

EEG biofeedback (neurofeedback) is used very successfully in the treatment of ADHD. The goal is to increase the energy content of the spontaneous EEG in the beta band (= heightened attention).

Sleep disorders

A combination of breath and EMG biofeedback allows those affected to practise relaxation. This can actively initiate sleep, consciously bringing the body into a state of rest.

Migraine

Two different approaches are used to find a better way of managing migraine: hand-warming training and the conscious control of the temporal arteries (vasoconstriction training)
